About

I began drawing as a child and have continued my love of design throughout the years. While I was in college earning my BFA in Graphic Design, I was able to obtain a job with a software company that was later merged with The Learning Company, a major player in the educational software market during the nineties. While there, I expanded on my skills and eventually became an animator and project manager.

During end of the nineties, I switched my focus from CD-ROM based delivery methods to the web. I worked for several years as a project manager and designer, learning and expanding skills with Flash and web development.

During 2001, I became an instructor at a technical college, expanding on and learning new skills both soft and technical. During 2004 I began to work on my MS in Instructional Technology and secured a job at UT where I worked as an Instructional Designer on several Department of Homeland Security grants and as webmaster for the College of Education. In 2012, I returned to the technical college to manage their distance education program where I used my skills to build and improve the program.
